JAVA WITH JOE

From the fear of being asked
to give more than I have...
Deliver me, Jesus.

If you think Jesus will ask for more than you have, remember the little boy in the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. He came forward with a small amount of food. Jesus needed to feed 5,000, but the boy could only offer five loaves of bread and two fish.

Jesus didn’t ask Him for anything more. Jesus used EVERYTHING the boy had - and provided MORE than was needed, as there were 12 baskets of food left over after everyone ate and was satisfied.

The task may require MORE than what you have, but Jesus simply asks for ALL that you have. And even a small offering, when put in His Hands, can multiply.

“God is able to make every grace abundant for you, so that in all things, always having all you need, you may have an abundance for every good work.”

(2 Corinthians 9:8)
